Thanks for the inspiration. I have 2 grandsons, 9 and 18 months. I hope to have a backyard, 1" scale, riding railroad for them to enjoy next summer - okay, it's for me too!

enjoyed your site. I am thinking of doing this on my property. Something different for people and kids to see and enjoy in our small town of 5000. Thanks again for sharing your dreams and family photos.

Take the spaces out on either side of the @ (to foil automatic spammers). Thanks for showing what you can do with minimal equipment and $. Your tips will be most helpful if I get to 1" scale. I saw and rode RidingRail Kits demo at the July 05 Garden Railway show in IL. I would have plunked down the $4600 for the detailed / sound equipped kit, except for the fact that my central A/C died that morning and gobbled up $4600! The recent price increase may have put the kabosh on building a line.

Swell site. Really enjoyed seeing your layout. I am interested in starting a layout, I have a one-acre lot to work with (with house, pool and shed) and would also like to use it for a Christmas display. I now own two G-scale trains which I set-up around our Christmas trees and a small N-scale which is on top of our counter between the kitchen and family room, with a small christmas tree inside to circle. This would be a dream come true to have a layout similiar to yours. Good Luck as you continue. I will be checking back to see how it is coming. Dennis Andrews, Spring Hill, FL.

Mr. Valdez, What a great wed site. I'm getting interested in model railkits and you have provided me with a lot to absorb. You generosity of knowledge is much apreciated. Should I take the next step and actually purchase a railkit I would like to contact you for advise. Thank you 12.29.04
